Ingredients
- 150g butter
- 375g dark chocolate
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 6 eggs (separated)
Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Line the base of a 9-inch springform tin with baking paper and grease with butter.

Warm butter, chocolate and sugar together in the microwave on medium power until melted.

Transfer to a bowl, cool slightly then fold in flour and egg yolks one at a time.

In another bowl, beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks.

Gently fold egg whites into the chocolate mixture.

Spoon into prepared tin and bake for approximately 45 minutes or until cooked when tested with a skewer.

Allow the cake to cool in the tin.
